In 2017, the Heritage Black Bay Chrono model dares to combine the aquatic heritage of the Black Bay family with the queen function of a racetrack chronograph. History is also connected to the new Heritage Black Bay chronograph, as the chronographs represent the world of motorsport with a fixed tachymetric bezel, which has been a feature of Tudor stopwatches since their introduction in the late 19th century. Breitling is a robust movement that fits well with Tudor Black Bay and has had plenty of time to prove itself since its release in 2009. I have never looked at a Tudors' Black Bay chronograph with such affection from the start, but I feel that at the end of the day it gets (and still gets) a lot of love, even if I prefer it with a little more precision than at the beginning. The Tudor Black Bay Chronograph is not without its defects, although they are relatively small overall. Tudors has been quite outstanding in determining the purpose - the built ethos of the Tudors Heritage Chrono, which I have discussed here, and the Pelagos (report here), as well as its other chronograph models, such as the Patek Philippe Chronos.
